The famous volcanic island of Apo is a diver's paradise. Its dive sites are home to over 400 species of coral and 700 species of tropical fish. Depths range from 5 to 30 meters. If you haven't seen a beautiful coral garden in a long time, this is the place to go.
But it's also an island where young people have little or no career prospects.
Yet the island is a sanctuary for aquatic life, which is why we chose it for one of our missions.
